The Law Offices of Mark E. Pelosky, P.C. have extensive national and international experience practicing law as The Immigrants’ Attorney™. Attorney Pelosky is a member of: The Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Bar; The United States Federal Court, District of Massachusetts; and The United States Court of Appeals, First Circuit.
Attorney Pelosky provides legal services as a consultant to The United Nations on immigration law, refugee issues, and international law in: Cambodia (1993), Bosnia and Herzegovina (1996 and 1998), Kosovo (2000 and 2001), Montenegro (2002), Belarus (2004), Kazakhstan (2005) and The Democratic Republic of Congo (2006). Mark also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Togo, West Africa (1988 – 1990) developing & implementing health care, agriculture and small business projects. He has worked with and trained international attorneys, diplomatic staff and nonprofit organizations. Attorney Pelosky has also traveled extensively down through Mexico into Central America (1998).
Besides providing certain legal services for international business purposes in Cambodia and the Balkans, Attorney Pelosky has also provided business law services to American corporations while working in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait (2002) and in Saudi Arabia (2003). He most recently represented a Massachusetts corporation selected by the U.S. Department of Commerce to participate in an international trade development delegation to Egypt and Morocco (2003). Legal services for international business delivered by Attorney Pelosky in the Balkans, Southeast Asia, Gulf states and North Africa include: Meeting with and presenting products to business prospects, partners, agents, franchises and distributors; Drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements, licenses, intellectual property (copyrights / trademarks) matters, letters of credit & other; Achieving compliance with import / export, environmental, and other regulations; Securing finance, payment, lien and collections, e.g., Letters of Credit; and other.
Mark is 1 of 6 children from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Massachusetts-Amherst (1987) and Temple University School of Law (1996). He is married with 2 children, a boy and a girl.
